La Escondida
Owned by former England football manager Terry Venables and his wife Yvette Venables, the property is set on a sprawling 500 acre estate only 30 minutes from the beach. Our chefs
Our Michelin-star trained Head Chef makes breakfasts, lunches and dinners events to be savoured; simple and delicious international dishes are served, using only the finest cuts of meat to beautiful fresh fish and seafood. Fruit, vegetables and herbs are freshly picked from the Escondida garden. Although the sun shines for 300 days a year, on colder evenings, dining is in a traditional restaurant with original beams, stone walls and a roaring fire. In the sunshine, eating is al-fresco on a stunning terrace with breath-taking views of the valley.
Rooms
All rooms are decorated in a rustic, chic style. The furniture throughout the property was designed and hand-made especially for La Escondida with colours influenced by the surrounding countryside and olive groves. Due to the layout of the house each room is different and has its own unique character. All rooms have luxurious touches in all the right places. Whilst children are welcome at La Escondida, it is a finely designed boutique hotel catering specifically for adults who are in search of peace, tranquillity and relaxation and unfortunately not ideal for little ones.
